Unable to install Swype on Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 7.0

Just bought a Galaxy Tab 2 a week ago, and I'm disappointed to find out that Swype won't install on it. I run the installer, but it gives me an error saying that my screen resolution is not supported. The Tab 2's resolution is 1024x600, which is in fact a supported resolution on the "Supported Screen Sizes and Languages" page http://beta.swype.com/android/supported/

I have the same problem. I realy dont like the stock keyboard.

Yeah, it really sucks to be stuck without Swype, since I've been using it for years on my phone now and I'm so used to using it.

Keep in mind: installing Swype via Beta will not install a full version, but a BETA version.

With that said, yes: WSVGA (1024x600) is a resolution we support. Let me run this by our QA team and see if they can repro.

Thanks David. I'm aware that it's the Beta version I'm installing. I'd also like to make clear that this is the new Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 7.0" that was released a few weeks ago, and not the older Galaxy Tab 7.0 or 7.0 Plus.
