Hi, today i installed Cyanogenmon7 and swype, i tried to download Polish language, but i cant even enter language download screen. When i click on "Download languages" it seems it loads but, after 10 minutes nothing happend... I'm giving you a screenshot. I have the same issue here. I have a Samsung Galaxy S II (I9100), and I'm using the latest nightly build from cyanogenmod 9 right now (date 03/25/2012).
I know what I am supposed to do.
"To download more languages, please follow these steps:
1. Open Swype Settings
2. Select "Language Options"
3. Select "Manage languages"
4. Select "Download languages"
From this menu, you'll see a list of languages available for download."
Well, in Gingerbread ROMs this works all right.
Swype doesn't give me the option to download additional languages - I can just choose between English and Spanish. In my case I would like to download Brazilian Portuguese.

Odd bug.
This workaround didn't work Cyanogenmod 9. The Swype app doesn't show in the app list.
What I did was:
1) Open the installer, download Swype beta, install Swype beta.
2) In the installer, click "enable Swype".
3) Back to the installer, click "select Swype". Select it.
4) Exit installer.
5) Go to system settings, language settings, Swype settings...
And there it was, the option to download additional languages. Long story short: do everything as possible to activate Swype from within the installer.
Maybe this workaround works for ICS ROMs, I don't know... Worked for me.
But there it is, Swype fellows. A bug report.

Hello everybody
Since yesterday, the keyboard swype works very well on my phone and I can download french language and dragon go too.
Therfore I'm very happy.
Dragon Go is wonderful and better than google search.

The same thing happens to me. I get this annoying circle that justs spins and spins and nothing happens. I'm not able to get through to the download page where to select what language to download. There are two buttons visible but the "Install" button is greyed out so the only option I have is "Cancel". It's like it stalling on the circle and can't get any further. It's been doing this for at least 40 minutes. Please give advice what to do. If I won't be able to download any additional languages I might as well uninstall swype because it won't be of any use for me since my main communication is neither in English nor Spanish. I need extra letters and diacritical signs.

Ok. I finally got it.
1. Go to application manager ( 3rd party applications).
2. Find swype beta , open, clear data, uninstall.
3. open swype beta installer, run it and when installation is over don't press Done ,but hit back button on your phone and it will take you back to installer screen.
4. choose run swype beta.
5. Now do it as you would normally do. Go to settings, install languages.
Worked on my galaxy X.
