Swype Keyboard SYM should be similar to what users are accustomed to

I think I speak for thousands when I say all keyboards should be standard to that of the Blackberry. Most users that had smart phones had the Blackberry before these touch screens rolled out. With that said, having the numbers closest to the left side of the screen makes using digits much faster. For example, look at the Swiftkeys' keyboard below:



As you can see, the numbers are all the way to the left.

I actually would prefer the numbers laid out as a QWERTY keyboard. The BlackBerry and Swype layout actually is a pain in my view.
The layout on my HTC EVO is more intuitive and easier to use than the BlackBerry or Swype layouts.
