"" is not a legal character for a dictionary word

Hi

I'm trying to add a name with an accented e (é) and I get the following error:

The word cannot be added to your Swype dictionary because "" is not a legal character for a dictionary word.

I can reproduce this with the word café too.

This is a bug since the latest beta update.
