My guess is that the new beta program won't be released until at LEAST 31 days after the beta expires, which will be after the 30-day trial version from the Play Store expires, if beta users install the trial version after their beta version expires on 9/14. This way, current beta users that want to keep using Swype will be required to purchase the full version from the Play Store.

1.5.15.19977 keyboard alternate numbers and symbols are SMALLER on the keyboard than 1.4.9.13905. The text size of the alternate items on the keyboard is smaller, no matter which theme is selected.

WHY WAS THIS CHANGED? How can it be fixed? I'm sure this small change doesn't matter to those with excellent eyesight, but it DOES matter to those with less than excellent eyesight! Seriously, how could this be considered a necessary improvement?

@mleach99 you can still use it, but after your version expires you will have limited functionality. You can learn more about our upcoming beta plans here.

    Thanks
Thanks Jacob, how will we know when this becomes available? Will it be pushed to our devices or do we have to check the site. Estimated date?

This is a real pity, because the old Swype beta was capable of saving words the newer Swype versions cannot. It just keeps on getting more crippled, the longer I try sticking with it.

Do you mean there are certain words 1.4.9.13905 could save, but for some reason 1.5.15.19977 can't save those particular words? Didn't your personal dictionary transfer from 1.4.9.13905 to 1.5.15.19977 using Swype Connect?

My personal dictionary transferred, but now that the older beta has been abandoned, I've been left with a crippled product and no workarounds for adding other now impossible words....

What do you mean crippled? It isn't crippled on my phone. I wonder it it's different on the tablet version? What happens when you try to add a new word? How does it differ from how it worked in the beta version?
