+1 to this. The reason I'm not using Swype is because it doesn't have the extra row of digits and the arrows at the bottom like Kii. I know you can swype these things out but it's still an extra and unnecessary step

Yeah, I'd also love to see this added.

+ 1, I also want to have a single hand option (small keyboard) on a 5.3 inch Note2.

    +1 for this too.
I have a galaxy note 2 and screen real estate is at an abundance for me.

I second the request for a number row like the Samsung keyboard on the Note 2. It could be optional for those that have a small screen. looks like this request has been around for quite some times

You could just ignore the number row for "swype" prediction.

What you say maybe true for telephone numbers. But I find most of my input is mixed. Like an adress or password. For that a number row would be very useful.

My advice? Get used to it.

Lightbulb Adding numbers row above keyboard for big screens

I've just bought the Galaxy S4 and it has Samsung keyboard by default,
I used it for some time and got used to it and now I'm trying Swype.

Swype is awesome and has more features and it was definitely a smart purchase

One feature that Samsung has and Swype lacks is the numbers row above the keyboard
As you can see in the following picture:

If the screen is big enough (5" is pretty big!) the numbers row can fit easily and can make a better user experience!
Is there an option right now to add it?
If not please consider it, Thx !

Sure would love it myself! Those S4 numbers are pretty spiffy.

If they add another row, please let us resize the keyboard. On my tablet, in landscape, it already takes up 1/2 the screen. I don't need to lose more screen.
