I think there should be a "never use this word" dictionary to just get rid of words you would never use.

For example sometimes i try to put in "come" but i'm off a little and "cine" comes up. I would never ever use the word cine for anything so they should have a place where I can just take that word out of the swype dictionary. Another example is "this" instead of "thus"

If you're able to customize your words like this it would make it a lot easier.

Hello,

Swype does have this feature but it functions in a different manner. When you swype "come" and you instead get "cine", highlight the word and hit the swype key to bring up the word choice window. In that window select come as the correct selection. The next time you swype "come" you will get that word.

Over time Swype does figure this out, but this is a way to force swype to learn the correct word.

Why not let us delete the words we never use?

A better method for interfacing directly with the dictionary is definitely something we would like to make available to our users. At this time, no such feature exists beyond what Ashex had already described, but rest assured it's something that we are aware needs our attention.

Good to hear.
No need for useless words, I never will use, popping up on my phone =]

I think Swype is growing and so will their capabilities and improvements. Certain adjustments... hopefully, are in the making. Improving Pre-suggestive/correct spelling will make using the keyboard even more of a breeze, and i think that's every users main concern and objective. If a user has to fight with the keyboard/Swyping... then frustration builds.

Yes we need to be able to remove certain words. I'm tired of typing "for" and having it come up "fort" every time. I'm neither a soldier or a child so I don't need to use the word "fort" for anything.

I keep getting god when I swype good,...
Don't feel bad, you're not alone!

I would be happy to be able to fasttrack the down ranking features that are "built-in" to swype. Very seldomly would I want to actually delete a word... However having that ability would still be nice.

Amen lol - I type K.... and always get K.D. Lang.... Nothing against Ms. Lang, but I don't really refer to her very often in my every day life.

I agree with this. I have been trying all day to find out how to get rid of 2moro, 2day, 4ever and all of the other text-crap words that are for some reason protected from being deleted.

I don't even care if they remained in the dictionary as long as they didn't come up as the predicted word when I type 2.
Whenever I am typing a number, I am wanting the number - not some number-word combination.
