It will ask for your login credentials, then download the choice of Swype you desire (English & Spanish or Multi-language)

What languages come with the Multi-language ???
Is there a list somewhere ?

Can you add more ?
Were do you get additional language packs ?

Thanks!

Can I get Swype in another language?
The current beta supports English, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, German and French, as well as an *UNSTABLE* test-version of Chinese Pinyin. Pre-loaded versions of Swype, available on of our partners' phones, support those and many more languages. We hope to include more languages (as well as add the ability to download language packs) in future beta updates. Keep an eye on http://beta.swype.com for announcements about new versions. Also, join our forums at forum.swype.com and head to our Linguistics subforum to suggest new languages and contribute to developing existing ones!

Yesterday I downloaded swype beta to my LG P500 (has a 320x480 screen, so most languages should be available, according to this table (http://beta.swype.com/android/supported/)).
Installation etc. worked fine, but I only have US English or Spanish as languages I can choose from. I thought I probably had chosen the wrong installation package, so I uninstalled it and run the installation again - 3 times.
It doesn't matter whether I select the Full Beta or only English&Spanish for installation, I never have more languages than these two.

Any idea how I can get German, for example?

Yer, despite that table. When I install the full version I'm not getting EnglishUK to show up in language preferences which is annoying >.<

I'm using swype beta on my HTC Hero for several months now :D
The new installer update failed to rebuild the licence files so I just deleted both installer & keyboard.
I fulfilled the install process several times but just like krimlin, I'm stucked with the 'US English & Spanish' (tried 2 times each options, all the same).
Is there an issue with the installer or the French version is just not available anymore for my device ? :(

Thanks for the feedback. We're looking into why some people aren't able to access the correct languages. We'll update this thread with more information when I have it.

I can confirm this issue:
LG P500 (optimus one), not rooted.
I used swype for months without problems, until approx. 2 weeks ago I got a message "license expired" or something. I uninstalled both the swype installer and swype, installed the new versions (multi language) but now only have English and spanish language available. I would need German and French, which should be available for my phone (and have worked before).
I'm back to the default android keyboard for now but I'm waiting anciously for a solution ;)
thx!

This issue has been resolved. Please either generate a new license using the "Generate License" button in the installer, or uninstall/reinstall Swype to get the fix. Thanks.
