I know how to delete individual words from the dictionary. How do you delete all the words that Swype has "learned" on the Samsung Galaxy S?
If you install Swype from the Market then you can go into Settings/Applications/Swype and clear the data (aparently). As Swype is in ROM on the Galaxy S this method doesn't work.
Do I have to root my phone to delete the dictionary manually?

In [Settings] > [Applications] > [Manage applications] you need to press Menu then Filter and select all apps. Then you can select Swype and Clear Data.

Thanks to Omnian for finding this.
