I just received an email about swype beta update and uninstalled my swype. I then went to my email and clicked on the link, but now I get a message saying my device is not an Android phone. I have the EVO 4G from sprint. Any suggestions? Thanks.

I found the same issue when using Opera or Skyfire, but the original Browser seemed to work fine.

I thought I was using Skyfire and I went ahead and uninstalled it, but I am still getting the same message.

Is there a way to find out which browser I am using and or how can I get it back to the original browser.

Any other suggestions if I am indeed using the original browser?
thanx

Ditto for me! I'm using an HTC EVO. What really stinks is that I already uninstalled the working version on my phone and am now stuck with nothing. I know this is beta software, but this is really unprofessional.

Ok, just found out what the issue is. You need to make sure in your browser settings that "Mobile View - Enable mobile versions of web pages" is checked off. Also see forum thread

This worked for me!
